BFG's OR MICKEYS

Well my old BFG's are finally dead and looking for new sticky rubber.
The BFG's were giving me some spin and i was thinking of going to M/T ET streets but am scared that the 26-11.5-16's
will not fit, does anybody have any feedback on weather the 26-10.5-16's will still hook better than the BFG's?
Or if the 11.5's will actually fit with my stock 16" laced (disc brake wheels)?
My best 60ft w/BFG's hooking was 1.73, should i just go w/BFG's
again - did they lose bite as they wear? will new ones be better?

Thanks for any info.

Im not sure about the fit, but the will grip very well. The down side is that they wear very fast. Softer=better grip=shorter lasting tires

Not sure of the fit question...I ran 26-11.5 15s on my 97SS on 15x10s, and it cleared that. BFGs tend to hook best when worn, so if you go to new BFGs I doubt you'll see any improvement, and possibly reduced traction. I would go with ET Streets on something that serious...you will probably be a lot more consistent, and see better 60ft times and reduced ETs.

With the right backspace it shouldn't be a problem.

inner wheelwell . probably nothing a hammer and 1/4 wheel spacer should not cure

Please do!
jjhindsiii@yahoo.com

You can see a lot of mine at my old website...

It hasn't been updated in forever, and none of the performance numbers are accurate for the combo that was in the car when I last updated it...the new cam (GTP6) really woke it up. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to dyno the car before I decided to sell it and started putting it back stock.
