Phoniex V12 Question/Problem

i most recently purchased a V12 injector w/smart pak. everyone said it worked and had great results around here. i said what the hell and bought it. well the problem i'm having is the when i squeeze the handle down it won't come back unless i pull the handle back. the fluid aerates in the little clear cylinder since the movement is sudden and violent. this defeats the purpose of the product. there is no air the suction line what so ever or the cylinder until it comes time to pull the handle back. i thought the handle/trigger was supposed to retract to it's original "unsqueezed" postion? it remains in the "squeezed" postion??? please tell me i'm doing something wrong and that this can be corrected easily.

edit: when i pull back the handle it "jumps/jerks" back. it doesn't move smoothly back as i thought it should???? please help

have you tried movingthe adjusting wheel in front of the suction line? other than that i might think you got a bad one. did you get a video with it? i did, watch it if you did, lot easier than reading the instructions.

i have tried the adjusting wheel. same thing except it gets stuck in the max travel postion for that number(only when fluid is present). it does not get stuck when there is no fluid in the injector. although the injector still does not retract smoothly. it only slighty "vibrates" when returning to it's "unsqueezed" postion. i have looked at the video and i am stuck at the bleeding of injector part. i wish my injector would work as smooth as those in the video . why dod i always get the bad stuff???
