SFCs???? What are they for? I've never heard of them before.

Okay, now all kidding aside, Spohn, Kenny Brown, Alston, Global West, and Jegster all have decent SFCs. Do a search. I'm sure you'll have enough to read for hours upon hours.

I have the CE weldins and they worked pretty good and did not get in the way of anything. Also they were reasonably priced.

I've got SSM (South Side Machine) weld-in SFC's and they fit just fine.

not hard to make, cost me 30 dollars for material enough for 2 sets. if you make your own it's cheaper to buy stell in full lengths than it is to pay to have it cut, i ithnk it's 20 dollarsa cut and none of the 3 pieces i bought cost 20 dollars. look at some catalogs to get an idea how people make theirs. sorry i don't have any good pics, can't get the car high enough for them to make sense in a pic, and i don't know how to post pics anyway.

Alston here. The "terminator" ones mentioned before are also Alstons. IRS was selling Alstons on their web site and calling them their "terminator" series. They were in fact just Alstons. In fact both times I purchased them they were drop-shipped to me directly from Alston. IRS dropped thirdgen parts from their web site about a year ago.

I have the Kenny Brown SFC's, a little pricy but great quality.

I have the Jegsters and love them. They fit great. I actually welded mine in though, so they are not just bolt in.

Check out the Competition Engineering for SFCs. I installed a set on my 84 Z-28 and they work fantastic. I did change the piece that goes from the sill to the center member with a piece of 10mm flat steel to allow no loss of ground clearance. The results are great. Dont go without sfcs.
