am I asking for trouble?
am I asking for trouble?
The guy at Shox.com said I was.
I ordered Eibach Sportline and Kyb Gr2 struts. He said that with this spring and strut combination that the KYB's will blow out on me every couple of months.
THe Catch: I ordered the Sportlines and they sent me the Prokit. So right now I have both of them sitting in my living room. WHat should I do. Do I need higher performance shocks and struts to use the Sportlines or was he just trying toconvince me to use the product that he already shipped?
Any wheel gap pictures of the differences between the two kits would be appreciated too. Thanks.

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, and they've been cut shorter, and I also have KYB's.It's about 2-1/4"-2-1/2" shorter than stock. I haven't had any troubles with the KYB's and I drive it hard most of the time.I don't know why that guy would tell you that unless he's trying to push you into buying something that he'll make more $ on.
I wouldn't worry about it.
My 2 Cents.
