Eibach Pro Kit VS stock WS6 springs

Want to have the best handling possible. Would also like the 1" drop but I don't want to sacrifice 1% of handling for it. (car won't look to nice lowered and around a pole or in a guard rail cha know what I mean?).
Anyways, I'm curious as to everyon'e thoughts on this...
If the pro kit's springs are a smaller diameter spring..then I don't want em for sure...

The Pro-Kit (and any other brand of lowering spring) have a much higher spring rate than any spring GM supplied. Handling is improved, but there is a sacrifice in softness of the ride. You'll feel a lot more of the road, but if you are after Honda Accord or Lexus ride, forget it.

also remeber that the eibachs are a progresive rate spring, so it is going to behave a little diffrent that even a linier spring of comprable stiffness.

I like feeling every bump on the road. Infact, I can't imagine it getting worse that it is now..lol.
Anyways, I want the increase in handling..period. I guess the pro kit is a good improvement over the ws6 springs?
Also, would the sportlines have a negative effect on handling?

i beleive that the sportlines are the more aggressive spings of the two.

but they do drop the car quite a bit, you would want LCA brackets to return the lca's to the proper location, and if it is a problem, a bump steer kit for the front. i know baer sells one, i don't know who else does.

The guy at the local performance shop says I don't wanna go more than 1" or I'll upset the whole car. Also, the chrossmemeber/exhaust sit pretty low on our cars already as well so I think the sportline is a little much. He strongly recommends the eibach pro kit.

yes, the lowering 2" will upset the geomotry of the suspension, that is why i recomended those peices to help counteract that. but of course lowering your center of gravity, and the higher spring rate will help it handle (if the geometry is still descent enough for the suspension to function as it was designed to).

the pro-kit is a great set of springs. if you are interested in leaving it at stock height, but with a stiffer spring, you might contact ground-control (www.ground-control.com). they sell all sorts of springs, you might give them a call and ask for their recomendation for what you want to do with you car.
