Will the combo of 36 hollow bar up front and a 21 mm Iroc bar in the back be any good? I am trying to improve the 30/18 bars in my v6 camaro.

Thanks

that combo will understeer pretty badly.

the 24mm bar is what came from the factory with teh 36mm front bar.

This is not a direct answer to your question, but my reply may make finding the bars more easy.

Some 89-92 Camaros and some 86-92 Firebirds were equipped with the 36/24 mm combo.

I realize that however all the junkyards I have called around me do not have any of those cars left in the yard and honestly it is hard to find any car older than 95 or so in the junkyards around here.

Does anyone have one for sale that is DEFINATELY a 24mm?

i would check the classifieds.

aslo check the venders at the top of the page, a couple of them sell used parts, one of them might have it.

also spohn sells an aftermarket 25mm rear it will actualy work very well with the 36mm front bar, since GM designed these cars to have some understeer. (so stupid drivers don't wreck ). a 25mm rear bar "should" give you car a VERY neutral feel (may feel loose if you are used to the understeer that is built into our cars)

I was at the wrecker and came across a rear bar on a '82 Z28, it turned out to be an aftermarket 1 1/8" (about 28 mm) monster.

I just mounted it last Saturday and it's the best suspension mod I've done yet. Keep your eyes open for one of these puppies.
