Wtf?

Are coil spring isolators and coil spring boosters the same thing? I don't know what a isolator looks like but a booster is one solid piece that kind goes in the middle of the coil I guess. This is messed up. NOBODY in town carrys them. Need help quick.

Nope. Isolators go on top of the spring - between the spring and body. You should be able to get them from a GM dealer and they are not expensive at all.

BTW - the isolators for the rear springs look like big rubber donuts without the hole!

Hope that helps somewhat.

I'll need someone else to chime in on the fronts - I don't remember there being an isolator in the front when I swapped springs in my '89.

Anyone else?

My 92 B4C had them in the front. But maybe it was an 1LE option or something. I recommend you get the poly ones if you decide to get them at all.

My memory failed me again. They look like a big rubber donut period.

Sometimes the grey-matter isn't all it used to be... (and sometimes that's a good thing... )

They (the rear isolaters) sort of look like that wax ring for a crapper...

The front ones look nothing like the rear (other than the fact that they are round). They are thinner and sort of rest on top of the spring. I fastened mine down with zip ties so they wouldn't move while I was installing the springs.
