this is going to open a can of worms
everyone is going to tell you that what THEY have is the best, because we all want to beleive we made the best choice.
as for springs it really depends on what you want to do with you car, and how you want it to feel, some people like the springs a little softer, some like them more firm, some like progesive some like linear.
any of the listed springs will be an improvement over your warn out RS springs. i would stay away from used springs though.

do you want to lower your car if so get the eibachs!
if you want the stock height with fender gaps get ws6 or an yaftermarket stock spring replacement..

They are all good springs. If you want to lower your car and get better handling go with the Eibachs. They are a very trusted brand and are known for their springs. Moog springs are always good as well. What else would you be doing with the car besides "semi-daily" driving it?

I have Intrax springs on my car. I really like them. Surprisingly, the ride is quite comfortable, yet they made my car handle great. They say they lower our cars 2" but i think it is more like 1.5- 1.75 inches. They are a good price too... $189 at Summit

Well I will take it to the track every once in a while, auto-X as well as the 1/4.What else would you be doing with the car besides "semi-daily" driving it?
I'd like to gain as much handling as I can without sacrificing much ride height because there are a lot of ramps and dips and potholes around here.
Though since the springs are so old they probably ride an inch or so lower than they did 10 years ago?

if you want to spend the money....
ground-control (ground-control.com) sells spring kits with adj. ride height, and the kit includes 4 Eibach Race Springs.
about $380 and you have to do some welding for the rear.

It all depends on what you do and the money you are willing to spend. I agree thee eibachs are great and I have also had much success with modified NNL and BZX stock springs, but my latest endevor has really convinced me you get what you pay for. I have switched to hyper coil springs with custom valved Bilstien shocks. You should always match your shocks to your springs. That is why your shocks are there. My autocross times were lowered and my car feels razor sharp on the road. A quality spring shock setup really does a good job at gripping the road without subjecting you to a harsh ride. Test drive an Audi A4 or S4 and you will see what I mean.

Those springs are good, but I bought the Hotchkiss 1" lowering springs and i like the quality. Don't know about the ride yet, I have to replace the bent k-member, but will let you know when i get some ride info.Originally posted by Dewey316

I've had Jamex springs for 50,000 miles now and I must say that they suck. I feel that are way stiff for this car. THe ride hieght is sweet, but ride quality is poor. THen again I have the PST polygraphite bushing kit too.
The best handling third gen I've ever rode in had eibachs and konis and 300 lbs weight savings.

I have noticed on many aftermarket spring combinations, that a properly valved set of shocks can make all the difference. Many of the aftermarket springs are softer than stock through their first 1/3 of travel. Using shocks that are not set up for the decreased ride height and the new rate of the spring can cause some serious ride problems. Most the shocks set of for stock cars have too much jounce for lowered springs. This means when the car goes down quicker due to the softer 1/3 travel in aftermarket springs the shocks stiffen up really hard due to the increased velocity of the car chassis. Another concern is the rebound on a lowered spring is less pronounced, likewise the shock should have less rebound, but stockers have a good amount of rebound damping. This causes a lowered spring to have less recovery time between bumps and weight transfer causing the car to ride rough and be loose in the corners. Pickup a sport ride Bilstein and you will imediatly feel the difference between it and a stocker. It will be noticeably harder to compress and it will always stay at full extention. Astocker will be easy to compress and will slowly work its way to full extention. Sorry for the long post
