making a TA, help
making a TA, help
i see there is a adjustment at the bottom of aftermarket Torque arms but yet i don’t really understand how they can be adjusted because of how they adjust and just seems impossible and would only adjust under the access movement of the design but yet it really only needs to move a few deg but yet still does not seem right. I am planning on making a TA for my car pretty much for the fun of it and see what i can come up with but this part has me stumped. And i have drawn the reason why i don’t really understand it and seems like there has to be a joint somewhere in the TA to properly adjust. It just does not seem right, i know i must be looking over something that would make since to all of this and its just a problem that poped up in my head i would like to find out why and how.
thank you
and please excuse my grammer in the pic i am tired

Okay, here's how it works. The bottom connection has the "turn-buckle" which allows you to adjust the pinion angle. The top connection is the pivot point.
By loosening the top connection and then adjusting the turn-buckle, the angle of the pinion changes - either positive (upward - towards the body of the car) or negative (downward - toward the road).
I hope that makes sense.
