changing spindles to get abs

Hey Guys,

I have been doing alot of thinking. I really want abs. I was thinking if it would be possible to take the spindles from a car with abs, like a grand prix or some other car with abs that uses spindles simular to our's. I know you need the cv shafts in order to get the abs to work. Is there away you can think of to get around this?

I was also thinking you could take the rear spindle of a grand prix with abs and re machine it to fit an "A" arm.

What do you guys think?

Any ideas of your known?

thanks:hail: :hail: :hail:

You may not even have to go that far. I know a lot of the older RWD Fords (early-mid 90's) and late model 2WD trucks use spindles and integral brake rotor/hubs just like our cars. Most of them have pressed on reluctor rings on the inside of the rotor. You could check a junkyard to see what would swap over. Just make a bracket for a sensor...
