Wheel hop while under hard turning
If I'm at the end of a cul-de-sac or something else and I'm turning her all the way to one side, I get pretty noticeable wheel hop. Why does this happen...any ideas? Or is this too vague a question?

well i guess it's not so much a "hop" as in the tires come loose from the ground......it's hard to explain.....almost like.....well, when i turn the wheel all the way to one side and move, the car almost....jerks every few seconds.

the hop is the idler arm not positioned properly. this causes what is called toe out on turns to be incorrecty. when at full lock it, does it make the car hop side to side? in a turn, the inner wheel travels less distance in the turn than the outer wheel.
for instance, you turn the wheel left 20*. the right wheel is supposed to turn approximately 18*. because the outer wheel travel further. so it turns less. if this is off, like on my car( left 20* right 21* in a left turn), then the outer wheel skips across the pavement because it's turned too far inward of the turn. to fix this you move the idler arm up/down to make the centerlink parallel to the ground.
here's a pic of the slots where the idler arm goes.

and here's a tech article on installing one.

well you would have to check it out to see if it's worn. lift the front off the ground. grab the idler arm and see if you can move it up/down. or you can grab the wheel and move left/right while looking at the idler arm to see if it moves that way. won't always see it moving using the wheel method.
i see you are in orlando also. call me at (407)295-7073 robert. maybe you can bring it by my shop to have a look at it.

Robert -- thanks for the offer, man. Things have been pretty busy with school lately, but hopefully I can give you a call when I get some spare time!
