Does the 1LE caliper require a V6 master Cylinder?

Is it true that the 1LE caliper swap requires a V6 master cyl?
How could this make a difference?
Is it really noticable?
I have a brand new V8 master Cylinder on there now

I guess it's not a V6 MC but a disc/drum MC

Yes, to do it "right" it requires a disc/drum M/C.

Does anyone have a pic of the right MC?

Does anyone have a pic of the correct master cyl, and even better would be a pic of the disc/drum, and the 4 disc m/c so I can see if there are any tell tale visual differences, since the MC in the car , has the pn on the bottom and I don't want to take it out.
I have no Idea what car it came from
Thanks

The only difference I found in the 2 is the sticker on the front. FX is the 1LE and disc/drum (J50), FY is the disc/disc (J65). This was the case on my '88.

The FX master cylinder is also correct for 89-92 cars with PBR rear discs.
