VSE by Matt Adams, a specialty Equipment Company started by Matt and Dad, Herb Adams (you BETTER know who Herb is!!!)

Has a test report in the VSE catalog:

Stock '82 Firebird w 215x65-15 goodyears = .82g

installed 245x60-15 tires = .85g

Installed VSE sway bars= .88g

cut 1/2, coil front spring, .92g
added steel front control arm bushings

AX alignment, rear sway bar bushings, .96g
relocate battery to trunk

swap 255-50x16 goodyear on 16x8 wheels .99g

this is old data, I bet my racecar is capable of way more then these numbers

I have a 1988 Camaro VS. Mustang issue of Road and Track that details the 1985 V6 sport coupe he bought for his wife. In short, it says they wanted to maintain the V6 mileage, but wanted to improve the car's handling--thus the VSE package was born. Article states the car averaged 1.01G, with 1.02G best. Slalom was only 66.6MPH. I say *only* because there is another thread floating around here with a similar slalom speed but ~0.95G best. Details on the car:

255/50ZR-16 shaved tread S compound showroom stock race rubber on 9" wide rims

33mm front, 28.5mm rear bars

'shortened' stock springs (does not say how much in this article)

'aluminum/nylon hybrid' bushings

'specially valved' shocks

battery moved to rear

Also, since this was his wifes car, it says it had 50,000 miles on it at the time of the test, and Road and Track went on to say ride did not belay the cars incredible capabilities--it rode well. I'm sure further tweaking of the spring/shock combo to work more in concert with the sway bars would improve transient response and raise slalom speed.
