Anyone Notice A Decent Traction Improvement After You Installed Sfc's???

Just wondering cause since i have installed mine the launch and 1-2 shift is much better. Not to mention I can no longer chirp 2-3. Since the body is staying straight it lifts and launches much more evenly, so the 255's are hooking much better.

What about the rest of you???

Your new SFC's will do wonders for the SOTP feel.

I feel like an idiot. SOTP??

As for SFC's, oh yeah. I want'em bad on my GTA. I really want to just mod the hell out of the chassis so I can corner on rails. I'm really more into autocross then drag. But there is something to be said for trying to accelorate as fast as you can in a straight line.^_^

Here's an earlier post of mine-

[I have Spohn solid bar combo 34mm/25mm (34mm =1 5/16" / 25mm = 1") on my V6and the *** end is slightly loose now after installing his subframe connecters. The inside rears are lifting a bit too much now with the more rigid chassis. I'm going to opt for a smaller rear bar like your solid 7/8" to keep the rear planted. Also remember, I have a lightweight V6 up front with 800Lb springs and I'm still lifting the rear. This would be way worst with a heavier V8 car that I believe stock runs about 650-700 lb springs. If I had a V8 in MY car the way it is setup I would opt for a 36mm Solid front bar if I could find one (otherwise go up a bit in spring rate with the 34mm- probably as high as 1100Lb springs- Can you say hard ride on the street) and I would buy the 7/8"solid for the rear. 25mm solid (1") is too big for the rear of these cars under any circumstance.]

The car actually handled better before I installed the Spohn SFC's with the combo was running. I now have to rework it a bit do to lack of chassis flex lifting the rears. It will handle better than before eventually when I get the bugs worked out.

I had the same experience: lauching was a lot straighter and the car just felt more solid and was more predictable. Also, they are an awesome place to utilize as a jacking point....
