Friggin Swaybar wont fit w/ 12 bolt rear....

Well, I swapped my crap rear end for a Strange 12 bolt (off of a 4th gen, so I dont need rear spacers), and now my swaybar wont fit. The hump in the bar designed to clear the housing & cover hits the bottom of the housing. Anyone know of a swaybar that might fit? I dont want to do anything drastic like get one of the drag racing only bars. Any suggestions?

These are designed just for that problem:

Hmm, I dunno. My problem is neither of the 2 problems addressed by those parts, but it does look like they might space the bar down far enough to clear the housing. I knew there was one site last night that I frogot to check, lol.

I have strange's Third gen rear in my Camaro and didn't have one problem with the sway bar - I used the stock brackets and a stack 18mm bar (there is room for the 21mm, but maybe not the 24mm). I had absolutely no problems at all. The brakes were an entirely different story, but that is another can o' worms.

Try the 18mm bar first - base Camaro/Firebird bar.

I'm not sure if I've still got my old swaybar kicking around. It may be in my storage unit. I've got the 24mm bar on there right now, and I'd really like to keep it, but I guess I'll have to deal with the puny one for a while (if it fits) while I figure something out. Thanks for the tip!
