Anything that you add that welds on like that will strengthen more than likely. Just look how much SFC connectors add a different feel to a car. If you were going to go to that much work, why not just put a S&W roll bar in? I mean your still going to have to pull the interior out and have it weld in place. If the sidebars are a big deal you could always get the swing out option too.

I already have my car completely gutted. what I want is some more chassis stiffness without have the rear cross brace and a somewhat stock looking car. so that is why I'm opting for something like that. or a S&W and lowering the sidebars.

I think someone made a design that way from S&W if I remember right.. which I might not be. They used the rear hatch bars to put up front. You could always order the S&W kit piece by piece to same some cash I guess. Have you seen the KB street cage? It's not legal but it was designed for street use and you don't lose your back seats. They kind of stick you on the price of it though.

K, if you just want that then I would recommend doing a search on this board. To see if anyone modded the front bars like the picture. Or you might just try going to S&W race cars page and looking up prices. I'm willing to bet it probably won't be all that much for a 4 point if you pick the parts yourself. I've been told a local motorsport place in this area only wants 35 bucks for a the main hoop designed to fit our cars.
