Shock problems
Pretty sure I have original shocks on my car, 88 Iroc-Z 305 5spd. Anyways, my front tires rub bad when i turn hard, parking it is a joke. If I look at the stance form the side, i notice the back looks like its sitting up a little bit higher then the front. Also when i go over bumps it shoulds like my spare tire is loose cause i hear some "banging" noises, its hard to explain. Anyone have any ideas? I have the right size tires and what not, so im thinking my shocks are worn causing me to sit lower, and therefor making my front tires rub.

The shocks don't hold up the car, the springs do. Worn out shocks can cause some noises and/or bottoming out sounds. You don't have shocks on the front, they are struts. They don't hold up the car either. Rubbing at full lock was fairly common when these cars were brand new. Tire width varies from brand to brand of the same size, you might have a set that is a bit wider. Shocks, struts, and springs will make it drive like a different car.
