Brakes grabbing hard easily.

When Im at low speed, idle even my brakes grab really hard when I just barely touch the pedal. At speed they've been fine... but I havn't gotten the car up to speed lately as I've been just working on it... they were a bit grabby before but seem to be getting worse and worse quickly. I should mention that I've also only had it running for a couple minutes at a time and its always been at high idle. Are some of my lines collapsing or whats up? Oh also the car stops straight, no pulling. just hard/sensivitve brakes at idle basically and it's the fronts only. I have rear drums.

Sounds familiar- brakes grab hard and are extremely touchy?- front end dives down hard?- real pain in the *** to drive smooth at low speed like iin stop and go traffic?

Answer- You rear brakes are not working because the proportioning valves for these drum cars are crap- do this mod and they will feel much better-

so all I need do is take out the stock proportioning valve plug and stick in an allen head plug 5/8"-18 x 1/2"long? I'm not that familiar with where this plug is however I'll get the help of a friend who knows to try it.
