This may be a dumb question, but I was curious as to exactly where the stb mounts on each strut tower. The way that seems most apparent doesnt seem like a very stable location...am I overlooking something really simple? thanks

well you have to drill holes for the bolts to mount it..

the stb will keep the strut towers more stable and also this stb is a 3 point one so it hooks up to the firewall to add alittle more strength.

i hear its a noticable mod to help get rid of chassis flex in that area...

yeah, i have an lo3 too, and i love my car to death, but that picture was taken in Jan, in Portland, OR, so there had been 5months of straight rain, not alot of days to wash the car, and dirt just sort of builds up LOL.

Thanks guys, those pics are great...I was apprehensive about mounting it where it is SUPPOSED to go because it hangs over the edge quite a bit on the strut towers. I figured this wouldnt exactly provide the best structural support....but I guess I am wrong! Thanks again!

I also HAVE to compliment ont he engine bay uk89. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Immaculate! Surre wish I could keep mine that clean. Unfortunately I live in the desert where dust storms are the norm!

Many thanks

It doesn't get worked hard, I have it on a limited annual mileage of about 4,000 miles, don't drive in the rain, etc.etc. It's a hobby, that has become frustrating today We get 3-4 days forecast clear skies, (max daytime with blue sky about 50*) and my dizzy decides to show it's about ready to die!
