Cutting springs

i bought some new springs, id like to cut em a little, like half a coil off each one, how bad is this for it/

Did you know I cut 1/2 of a coil off my DZ lowering springs. cheack out my site for the new winter pics. What kind of springs did you just get,,,,they stock iroc for sure? I say that 1/2 wont make it too bad of a rough ride. Id say DONT cut more then a coil off the iroc ones tho.

I cut about 1/4 coil off my stock front springs on my ZZ4TPI. Dropped the front perfectly to match the JAMEX rear springs. I was in the middle of the swap when I found I had 4th gen front springs from Jamex and could not use them. I have the correct 3rd gens but haven't gotten around to them. PRobably when I replace the struts.
