I feel ashamed for asking this question

Okay, I have never messed with drum brakes before. Well, one day while the car was parked in the garage and on jackstands, my cousin decided to pull the brake drum off to inspect the brakes. How do I put it back together? I can't find a way to actually attatch it back onto the assembly. I don't just set it on there and then put the wheel on and rely on the lugnuts do I?

Please help, and don't make fun of me.

If the only thing your cousin did was take the drum off to inspect the brakes, then yes, you can just put it back on and throw the wheel back on.

how do you think your front rotor is held on there ? ;-)

not making fun of you but it's the same concept , slap it on , slap the wheel on , tighten lugnuts and off you go :-) lol

ask him if he touched anything else though, you don't want him removing any springs and stuff and not telling you about it

Okay.. like I said I was ashamed to ask, but I wanted to make sure, because I thought something just didn't feel right... but I'm probably paranoid because my wheel fell off the other day due to the thread I posted in the Appearance board. lol.
