Thirdgen rims on a fourthgen???
Thirdgen rims on a fourthgen???
Last year I purchased new rims and tires for my 92rs. They are American Racing torque thrust II's. The fronts are 17in, 9.5in wide with 4.5in of back spacing. The rears are 17in, 10.5in wide with 5.5in of back spacing. I just bought a 98z28 and was wondering if it is possiable to put these rims on the fourthgen. I think that the third and fourthgen cars have a different bolt pattern. Is this true? If so, is there an adaptor to allow thirdgen rims to fit on a fourthgen?? Thanks in advance!

The bolt pattern is the same.
They will stick out like rĄcer skateboard wheels.
I don't know of any adapter that takes away material. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can make them fit that way.
