rear trailing arm question

I am upgrading the rear suspension of my 91 RS. I am lowering the car by about 1.5 inches, installing an adjustable panhard bar and also I want to get new trailing arms. If I get nonadjustable trailing arms do I have to get the relocation brackets for them or can I just get adjustable trailing arms instead.

the brackets have nothing to do with the length of the control arms, you will want to get brackets , then the arm is up to you.

even with an adjustable arm, the geomitry will be off, if you get the brackets that will correct the rear geomitry.

Which relocation brackets would you recommend?

i have the spohn peice, they are all basicly the same. if you can get a weld in set. if there is no way you can get them welded, BMR makes a bolt in set, but i would go the weld in route (spohn)

This is a web site that shows how to install them. Why is it necesary to get these brackets?
