quick question about boxing in LCA's

I already cut my metal and stuff in my welding class that I need to box in my LCA's I was planning on boxing them in, tomorrow at school during my welding class, but my question is: is it ok for the car to be up on a jack? I know installing sub-frames it is best to have the suspension loaded when you do it, will this cause any problems if my car is up on a jack when im boxing the LCA's in? thanks

I would pull the LCAs off of the car to box them. This makes it easier to weld and it must be done to paint them anyways. I pulled them off and welded them on my welding bench and then primed and painted them, and reinstalled them. They work great. At the same time I boxed my panhard rod. I also fabricated my own subframe connectors, lower control arm relocating brackets, and strut-tower brace. You just can't beat making your own parts as long as you have the tools and the skills to do it right.
