lowering coils

i was looking at a set of coil springs today that are 1.75 inches lower than stock and are supposed to be a little stifferwill 1.75 inches even make a difference in ride height the package for all four springs is only 139.95

yea, it will make a significant noticable difference, alot of the guys that have lowered looking cars are running springs from eibach and dropzone like those

most springs say theyll drop your car 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" but because our coils are old and saged from stock ride,,,,then most people see about a 3/4" inch drop from say most cars.

The dropzones are way less in price then eibachs. My DZ where 104us some get them for as low as 70us off ebay new.
other brands out there are:

Dropzones
Eibachs
Suspension tecniques
Sprint
Intrax

I don't think you need a spring compressor because the wheel drops down so much.

thats tru but only for lowering springs a reg spring may be harder to get back in......but taking out just dont stand infront of it and let it down slow and maybe tie a chain on it so it wouldnt fly anywere on ya,,, put theres lots more room in our cars then others!

yep,,,,get a compressor anyhow if its free then,,,,You prob dont need it but good to be safe.
When the lift is suporting the car, place a jack under the lower a arm, chain spring to something or compress it,,,remove ball joint nut,,,break ball joint seal with air gun and a fork,,,,slowly let jack down standing out of the way,,,,the spring should slip out from ther bottom.
