widening aluminum wheels

widening aluminum wheels

in another thread someone mentioned having wheels widened. i know you can do it with steel wheels, but can you do it with aluminum wheels? if so, is it as strong as the original wheel was? where do you look for someone to do it?

these guys at wheel america say they can do it for 200 per rim and it'll be as strong as new. anyone have any experience with them?
