front wheel bearing question

front wheel bearing question
So is it possible to pull out the front bearing race? I looked at mine and thought that there wasn't enough of the race to grab onto (about 1/16" at the most). That means new rotor with the races pressed in already.

I used a punch and hammer. Work slowly from the back side and you'll have no problems.

Yeah, I tried that with my brass punch. But it just started to shred the end of it. I guess I should really get a better set of punches.

But I still wonder if there would be enough of the bearing to grab on to. But definately worth a shot. Supreme Member

They're made to do that, I'd give them a shot. They grab the race in three places so it should come out fine.
