front end clunk

when im driving and go over a bump theres a clunking noise coming from the front suspension. the car only has 79k on it so i doubt that is bushings. any ideas what this might be? its just usually a single solid thunk everytime i go over a bump.

swaybar endlinks seem OK. When i grab the top and bottom of the wheel there is some play and a slight clunking noise but i wouldnt think it would be the ball joints at 79k miles could it?

does it make a clunk noise when u drive straight with no bumps, if it does then it might be that the struts are not tighten. My car made a clunking noise and it was the struts that wasn't tightened all the way

balljoints can definately be worn out at 79k miles

but i'm not saying that's what the clunk is... it's a good place to start

i replaced my worn out ball joints at 82k with some Moogs... it's a pita the first time you do it, but after one time it's no problem
