Slick Tubes and Rim Screws

Slick Tubes and Rim Screws
If you run with a tube in your slicks, do you have to use rims screws? I have heard if you do not use rim screws then the tube could tear at the valve stem. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

not unless your making like an insane amount of horsepower.....you shouldnt have to worry about that
