Drop Zone

I have 18X8 rims all the way around. My car is high right now because I also have 255/45's all the way around it. I want to know how much I can lower it without having to pound out any fenderwells or anything. I do know I will have to get smaller tires up front, I might be able to keep the same size I have now in the back. But how far can I drop it to look sharp and what size tires will I need to use?

If you plan on dropping the car more than one inch you should look into a camber kit and an adjustable torque arm for starters.

what exactly is a chamber kit? What will the adjustable arm do? I am just worried about pouning out the fenderwells. I am thinking about going 255/45/18's in back and in front 245/40/18 in the front. Maybe smaller in front.

When you drop car the suspension angles change. The camber kit allows the cat to be alligned to factory specs. The adjustable torque arm will be needed to correc the pinion angle. I also forgot you will need an adjustable panhard bar to keep the AXL centered.

Is all this expensive? I dont have a cat. I thought some springs and good shocks and I would be good to go.

I have 17 inch rims with 45 series tires in the front and 50 in the back.....

Also using the Drop Zone springs, haven't had any issues yet.......

How much of a drop is it? Did you have to change pan hard bars and all that other stuff or did you just put springs and shocks?
