how hard is it to rebuild a steering box? my steering is loose and i want to rebuild the whole front end just about. do you just take the 4 bolts that hold the top on off to get into it?

 

i think a smart thing to do would be to figure out what your problem is or what you need. most likely the steering box isn't the problem. if it were me i'd replace it instead of rebuilding. if it's just an adjustemnt you need you can do that with the jam nut and set screw.
