From study (not experience), I think the konis are the best for racing, or if you drive on realy realy realy smooth streets. Otherwise, their suppost to be incredibly harsh. I've got some Tokicos comin in. Theyre suppost be alot smoother, but decent for racing tightness. We'll see..

There is not a better all-around shock than KONI in my opinion.

Koni Reds are perfect repacements for daily drivers. If you want to get serious suspension and don't care about feel, get the Yellows.

When I ever get the money, I'm putting on Koni Reds and Eibach Prokits. Should be awesome!

Harsh? My wife drives with Koni yellows daily and never complains about the car being harsh. As long as the rest of the suspension is in good shape, there should not be and bone jarring rattles or vibrations. my car rides beautifully- much better than it did with Tokico blues (rears where good, but front struts were always mushy rebound).

I have the yellows with a prokit and 17" wheels.

I think the Koni shocks were worth it for me and the car handles great. However, it's not a daily driver and this set up is very harsh on bad roads.

As for the adjustability - I believe it's more for wear compensation than setting up for track one day and daily driver the next.

I found that out of the box I needed a half turn on the front to tighten it up a bit.

I have to disagree.. a friend has Koni Yellows on her Neon, and they ride harsh as hell at max firmness (for autocross). Set them down to minimum for the streets and they feel perfect. I doubt you'd have to change the settings for drag though.
