Do I need to change the Proportioning Valve
I have recently purchased a rear end out of a 95 camaro. It has 3.42 gears in it and it is a posi with disc brakes. I got the E-brake cables. I am trying to research the problem with the proportioning valve. I could not get the proportioning valve. Will my proportion valve work? Anybody used the drum brake proportioning valve? Is there anything I can get or do to make it work?
By the way I am swapping it in a 86 trans am with drum brakes.

Since you have an '86, you will need P/N 14089496.

Hi,
I bought used Baer rear discs for my 84 3rd gen 10 bolt rear. Would I use the same proportioning valve part number above?
Thanks,
Craig
