I found the frame dimensions in my shop manual....

then I measured the frame...

side/side measurements are ok... (+- a bit)

I did a measurement from front frame to rear frame, it's out about 1cm. And then I measured the diagonals, they are both out pretty much exactly 2cm...

There's no place on the outside of the body where any squishing can be seen etc...

Is the body measurement for an 88 exactly the same as the 89, or are their minor differences... I believe I have the shop manual for the 89. (my car seems to be a little bit of a mix of 88 and 89 bits, was produced aug 88)

So anyone with a shop manual for 88 or 89, can you scan/post a pic of the frame dimensions. I'll post in a bit, after I fix photoshop.... the pic of what I have (and have been able to measure) the posted measurements are the ones from the book.

If someone has a manual for an 88 that's a bit diff, can they tell me what the different #'s are please
