driver side 1Le brake carrier

i just bought a kit from a lady on ebay, all hardware, adapter plates, every bolt washer , passenger side carrier, but no left handside one. i realize from usin the search it might be damn hard to find this carrier. but does anyone have any inside info about where i can get one from?

Try contacting Steve Spohn. He has 1LE carriers.

Well all you can do is ask. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Wait till Monday though, he's not going to be near his computer this weekend.

Not too sure on if bolt spacing for the corvette caliper is the same as the 1LE. I have corvette carriers, I can measure one, what is the spacing between the bolts on your carrier?

As I am sure you have now read in your other post, the C-4 carrier is not the same as the 1LE carrirer.

I tried mocking up a C-4 caliper & carrier using a modified spindle & 1LE rotor. I don't think you can place the caliper in the same location as the 1LE- too much interference to get bolts in there to work.

Back to the drawing board.

Good luck getting rid of the rh cradle. I was in the same boat and ended up giving the thing away on ebay(I think for $25), Then bought the set from Spohn.

Check with SSBC. They sold me the one carrier individually, but it is going to be pricey.

I ordered it by telephone. If you have a problem (for instance they don't know the p/n) let me know. I'm sure I've got it somewhere, although it may take awhile to find.
