Vacuum Pump

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone here was successfully using one of the vacuum pumps from stainless steel brakes that summit sells. I've already got one of the crane cams vacuum chambers but it wasn't enough. I connected a vacuum gage to the line from the manifold and it read around 8" of vacuum at idle(1000rpms) so I'm in dire need of something to work. I knew the guy before me had a huge cam but wow, I never expected that. Looks like it just connects to the booster and then you wire it in(ignition, rght?) and then do you cap the manifold or run a T to the booster? Thanks all.

Oh yeah, Would I want to keep the chamber or just throw it aside and cnnect the pump straight to the booster?

I have one and am running the pump directly to the booster. Works great. Pulls 19" of vacuum ... it would pull more but the vacuum switch cuts it off at 19".
