People with Line lock / Roll control, need advice
I'd really like to get a line lock, as they are $100-200 and it looks so cool to just sit there and not move while at the track smoking them up... I want I want!
Summit and Jegs have a bunch of different brands, some with separate installation kits, etc.
What do you guys have and recommend for ease of install and how good it works?

you can get the fittings you need various places....the easiest is the junkyard, by taking the other master cylinder lines off of old camaros/birds...

Ok, so Hurst is $50 more for the name, just like Sony lol
So where does this thing pipe into the brake line? And how do you use it? Do you have to push the brakes and flip the switch or something?
Oh yeah... what happens if you do it by accident on the highway or something? That would suck!

mine is between the MC and the proportioning valve, but most kits install after the valve between the PV and the brake line
you push the brakes to apply line pressure....and then push the line lock button...which closes the valve and locks the brake pressure in the front system.....
the switch is momentary so as soon as you let it go it releases......if you hit the button while driving, as long as your foot isnt on the brake, there is no line pressure present....so nothing would happen..

pretty much....all line locks are just solenoid actuated valves that can handle brake line pressure.

That's why you should use a momentary on/off switch instead of a regular on/off switch. If you bump it, it'll just activate for the time you've bumped it instead of staying on.

Ok, so it's easy enought to install then? No strange tools or anything?
Also, I was looking at the Hurst one, it's a good choice? I didn't know if it mattered what one I got; as they are just a solenoid and some piping.
