how to I.D. a quick ratio gear box

how to I.D. a quick ratio gear box

Has anyone ever found a sure way to identify a quick ratio steering gear box????

Engine: 350, ZZ4 equivalent
Transmission: Pro-Built Road Race 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Dana 44
This has been answered hundreds of times, do a search.

An easy way to tell is there will be a Z cast into it.

Off the top of my head, and probably because I typed it so many times: One box is 26000525 "Z". Other box is a number I can't remember, best bet is to do a <a href="search.php?s="><img src="images/top_search.gif" alt="Search" border="0"></a> like 89IrocZ said...
