Help with Koni strut warranty.............

I know they have a lifetime warranty, but I do not have my proof of purchase to get them replaced. Does anyone know of another way for me to get Koni to honor the warranty? Or any way to get them exchanged? These struts were really expensive (reds).

Thanks in advance.

Thomas

Just wore out. When I hit a bump at high speeds (over 40), the wheels feel like they are about to fall off. It is also riding really soft up front.

Oh, and you are almost as old as me!!!!

And play stupid, maybe they won't require any proof of purchase!

Where did you get six years from? They have only been on the car for about 3.

I had a Koni rear shock go bad on me. It leaked all the oil out. Koni sent me 2 new ones even though only one was bad.

When I called them they did mention to include the proof of purchase though.

As someone else said, you could call them and plead your case. Maybe they will let you slide without the receipt. You can return them to a local distributor for replacement as well. If there is one in your area, maybe they will be more forgiving on the proof of purchase.

If you know anyone else with Koni reds and their receipt, maybe they could ask for a replacement for you using their receipt.

Good luck.

Now that would just be wrong. Anyone have a receipt that I could use?

I will try to call Koni and plead my case. Maybe they will be nice around the holidays.

Or maybe they'll be disgruntled because they have to work during the holidays!
