Show me your sub frame connectors

I am looking into getting some sub frame connectors, and would like to see some pics of various different types mounted on cars. Are all weld on type, or is there a bolt on type. Any information you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks alot Jason

Spohn Tubular....weld in....

You can find both weld in and bolt in. Everyone here will tell you to get weld in, for a very good reason because they are much stronger. It took a muffler shop a good 1.5 hours to install with one guy up in the car the entire time with a spray bottle and the carpet pulled back. Well worth the money IMO.

Nah...........go with the Alstons. Much better of a subframe connector. These really DO connect the front and rear subframes together. Do a search for "Alston's" and you will find many threads where the debate goes on................

one debate that will never die. I love Spohn equipment, but I think the Alstons are the way to go.

I still say spohn. They improved the car a lot. Just from looking at my pics and the alstons, the spohn looks to be a much better design IMO. My muffler guy (who also does a lot of fabrication work) said they are the beefiest and best design he's ever seen. I'm very happy I went with them.

yes you should be able to run both fine. i wanted the alston's also but i think my tranny crossmember might get in the way. need to do some researching on that.

might need to notch either one i think.

Both are a good SFC. I hear that Kenny Brown SFCs are also a great design.

Generally, I have read on this board that the Spohns are better for weight transfer and the Alstons are better for handling. Both firm up the chassis.

I haven't heard much about Kenny Browns except that they have SFC's and Super SFC's... like stage one and stage two the Super SFC's are used as an upgrade WITH the base SFCs.
