26 x 11.5 x 16.........fitment problems on GTA rims?

I got a set of MT et streets and was wondering if they would work on my GTA rims (8"). My car sits a little low as it is, but I can fix that. I wanted to know if the rim would be wide enough and if you guys had any problems w/ them rubbing.

Thanks.

Just have them mounted and bolt them on. I have had them on 3 third gens before getting the 28 tall tires.

The 28" tall tires are very tight at the control arm mounting point and that can be opened up with a 5 pound hammer and about 5 min.
