Quick help!!!!! TDS 1LE End Link Install on 1991 RS
The factory rubber bushings on the front sway bar
end links have a nippled/narrowed tip to fit the hole in the sway bar and the A-Arm.
The end links I'm installing have nylon bushings and do not have a nippled end to fit down in the holes.
Does this make any difference?
Have any other RS owners installed the TDS 1lE front sway bar end links and ran into this?
Any problems?
Also, the sleeves are ~ 1/8 inch shorter than the factory sleeves.
It is hard to believe the hole in the sway bar and A-arm would be different on RS's and Z28's, maybe they are.
What a pain to install. After reading previous
posts about the difficulty of removing the endlinks, I have a sawsall on standby. The long bolt was so rusted/corroded, it broke in half when I loosend the top nut.
Thanks in advance!!!

After finishing the install, the car sits noticeably higher in front. I'm not sure if these end links are designed for 1991 RS's with F41 suspension package.
I haven't tighten the top nut down all the way on each side, but I doubt it will lower the car any after I do.
What a pain to get the factory end links off.

Yep, after a test drive everything settled in.
Actually, the height difference (I thought!) was from having the car jacked up and then letting the car back down with tires bowed in at the bottom.
The TDS sway bar end links are much better than the factory ones, in my opinion. Beefier sleeve, nylon bushings, yellow-zinc plated to help prevent corrosion, etc.
