Z06 RIMS ON A 3RD GEN????
Hey guys i had a question, my uncle got a Z06 corvette a little while ago and put on some light weight racing rims on and has the chrome Z06 rims and tires sitting on the side! He said that i can have them but i wasnt sure if the bolt pattern on the Z06 would fit on my '85 camaro (im sure mine is 5x4.75) anyways these are BRAND NEW FREE! rims and tires he has aside. He lives 2 hours away from me so i dont have much time to go down and try them on. Anyways i wanted to know if those Z06 rims will fit on mine or if there is some kind of adapter. Please let me know a.s.a.p!! Thanks!

You need adaptors...just like any other Corvette rim or 4th gen rim...
www.skulte.com
The ones you want are the 2" adaptors...Price is about $300 for the set of 4.

Wheels.
There might be a bit more response for this from the appearance and detailing board, where all the wheel junkies hang out
. You will definately need spacers, as 88TPI said. Some wheels have higher offset than others and you will either need 2" spacers all around or maybe 2.25" in the front. Go to the link or call skulte and get the exact fitment for your application. As for lowering, the only time I've heard of lowering issues on the Z06's is when you're running 10.5" wheels in the rear, in which case you probably won't be able to go further than an 1" (Pro-Kit). I myself have 17X9.5" ZR1's and run a 2.25" adapter in the front and my rear is from a 4th gen so I don't need adapters. Everything fits well:

you can give them to me
im going to buy some anyway. if you update to a 4th gen rearend you only need two adapters since the 4th gen rearend is roughly 2inches wider on each side. Man i love the Z06 wheels

Don't remember if the car is lowered, but it definitely has Andris' adapters on it.
