Wild down the road.

I live in Texas so when they use asphalt instead of concrete the road gets real wavy. Crusing down some of these roads can be a bear because my 92 RS shifts from side to side as the edges of my tires get stuck in some of the melty grooves. Is this normal? It certainly doesn't feel as though. I have replaced my struts and my bushings to my sway bay, but there has really been no improvement. Down the highway, I'm golden. I'm not sure what if anything I should do. My RS has 74K so most everything is still orginal. I just want to know if this is normal or if I should start replacing other things. Thanks in advance!

First check tire pressure... cheapest easiest cause of this is mismatched tire pressure.

Second...

My car does the same thing once in a while here in Las Vegas.
However, to make sure it isn't your car I would first get it up on jackstands and check for play in the front end. Grab a front tire and SHAKE IT! It everything moves around than its time to start replacing stuff. A fresh alignment won't hurt either... but some are reluctant to get an alignment on a front end in question. (waste of money)

I live in Oregon where the roads are all messed up from our wonderful log trucks and both my RS, and an '88 IROC I had for a while both wandered all over the road. My car didn't do that crap in California or Southeast Texas, so I'd assume it's just the roads. I've also heard that the tire size most camaros come with cause them to be more sensitive to grooves in the road also.
