Guys using moroso trick springs?

Is it possible to drive on the street/highway with them or is it way to dangerous?

Its fine as long as your drive with a little sense. Just don't try to take turns at excessive speeds.

i have skinny tires on the front without a sway bar now. i like to cruise at 90-100mph on the interstate like everyone, but i dont do corners at all in my car. its setup for cruising and drag use only.

does the ride "feel" any different while going striat, or hitting bumps(like a wave in the road) ?

thanks

It's very dependant upon what struts you're using. Stockers will have a tendency to bottom out with these springs. If you have drag type struts (70/30 or 90/10), they'll better control suspension compression to better help prevent bottoming out, but will want to extend more freely and let the front end rise (when coming out of a bump). Overall, the Moroso springs ride kind of bouncey and "springy", but as long as you understand the limitations of these springs, you can use them on the street with reasonable safety. I currently go through the traps at about 145 mph with these springs, 90/10 Lakewood struts, Del-A-Lum bushings, and no front sway bar, and the car is very stable. I also drive it on the street occassionally, without any real concerns (other than fast/evasive cornering maneuvers, which I avoid doing anyway).

how well is the braking controlled? with worn stock struts and springs, it wants to nose dive badly. i understand the limitations fully, and dont make sharp lane changes or carve corners now, i just dont want to ruin my cadillac ride while going down the hwy. if its floaty, that cool, the car does that now. ive just heard stories of having to "fight" the steering wheel, and that the car lost all streetability with 90/10's and trick springs.

thanks, any tips you have would be appreciated.

145mph..... thats smokin! :hail:

As for the 90/10's i noticed ZERO difference in day to driving going to them from kyb gr2's. The only time i can tell the difference is when trying to make a fast u-turn or anything of the sort. this is with VW tires on the front and no swaybar BTW...

I was also wondering about the springs, i might pick up a set of those.
