STB for a TBI car?

Hey All,

I have a 1988 Pontiac TransAm with a 305 TBI setup. I wanted to get a STB for it however with that bit saucer in the way a convientional STB won't cut it. Is ther any companies that make STB's for cars equiped with the open air element saucer?

Edelbrock is the only one I have seen so far that carries one for TBI cars....it's only like $130 too....not bad

Thanks man. Found one at Pace Performance. They were the cheapest and shipped to Canada. $122USD not a bad price if you ask me. Now, I got my Strut Tower Brace , and my Sub Frame Connector. Now if this damn snow would just leave I can get these babies installed and start enjoying my new toy

Did you notice any improvement over the cars handling by dropping the STB in?

Also...is that the same STB that I just bought...is that one from edlebrock?

Don't know if I was imagining it, but I felt like I had more of a positive feel while steering hard into turns. Just my 2 cents

If you can find a Jamex STB, it fits fine. I have one on my RS.

Wow, under $100 too. That looks pretty decent. Does it come just as pictured...all nice and chromed? And will it work if you change induction to say TPI or HSR? If so, that looks like a winner to me.!
