Rebuild or Replace master cyl???

Engine: ZZZ# 0607 of 1200 produced
Transmission: Pro-Built 700R4/Vig.2400
Axle/Gears: 3.27 BW 9 Bolt PBR Disc
Rebuild or Replace master cyl???
GM sells the rebuild kit for about 45 bucks,and a new master for 200 something. Just curious which people would recommend? Thanks fellas

Depends if the bore is corroded or not.I used a rebuild kit on one with a very slightly pitted bore and it leaked like a bastard(the corrosion ripped the seal).I got a new one.On the other hand I had one that worked great with a rebuild kit.Just inspect the bore for pitting and go from there.
