caster/camber plates
Does anyone make adjustable caster/camber plates for our cars? I want a set cause I'm gonna use my Camaro as a daily driver and track car and I dont wanna have to take my car to the alignment shop every weekend.

We had kinda the same Idea. You know a street car that can carve corners do the autocross, circle track whatever. So We made up these plates. When I first posted the pictures of them didn't get many responses. Not sure if the picture showed you enough about the idea. So here is the original picture.

And here are a couple of the installation.

Not too expensive to make just took a little time. Oh yeah these are dual purpose along with allowing for quick accurate adjustment of Caster and Camber they also raise the mounting point for the Strut by 1" thereby allowing for proper travel of the struts when you lower your car.

Sweet. Ratchet, you just make those up, or you have a company?
If you aren't makin them to sell, do you have any plans for them drawn up? I know some people that can cut up custom stuff, they just need blueprints or whatever
If you are, how much would it cost from you or to have you make a set for me?
Thanx,
Chris

I remember there was this one company that was supposed to make some camber/caster plates. They said they'd call me when they finished production...that was about...2 months ago or so O_o...I don't remember what the company was now though. I guess htey either 1) didnt make them or 2) forgot about my ***. Doesnt really matter to me though...the stock plates give enough camber/caster for now. If anything I'll just pick up that set from Spohn instead.

Revlimit,
I think you're talking about J&M. They did the same thing to me. Oh well, I have other choices.
I'll go with the Alloy/Spohn ones or the Ground Control ones combined with something like these. I think that would be the best setup, actually.

Sorry no prints. I just made them up out of 1 inch thick aluminum the screw adjuster in the side are 1/2 capscrews and the mounts that are welded to the strut tower are 1 inch square tubing modified so that the capscrew can slide with the strut mount and still adjust it. as the the profile of the plate i just traced the strut mount and left a couple of flat areas where the adjuster bolts go thru. the adjuster holes are tapped all the way thru the aluminum to allow for enough travel. the stock mount is attache to the aluminum plate with two 1/4 20 flat head cap screws. Not rocket science just cut and try.
Good luck.
Ric
Good luck.
