pic of Jegester torque arm installed

This is my Jegester torque arm, she is great, tons of traction, great off the line!!

Also is my newly balanced alum drive shaft, I got it from a junk yard for $40 and it only cost my $100 to get it fixed/balanced to work perfect in my car. She makes getting up into higher RPM's a lot quicker and eaiser.

I believe that it is the adjustable one. It mad a nice difference. For the money you cannot go wrong. I paid only $150 on ebay, new. They sell in jegs for $250 new.

Jegester products are cheap and work good!

Woo, I been wondering exactly how they mount to the body. How easy was it to install? Guess you had to remove your interior for some hole-drilling?

Yes, I had to take out my carpet (seats not a prob, never use back seats anyway, all racing you know) and for the most part my entire consel. It was not that bad, if you already have back seats taken out it takes no time at all.

I really like it a lot! She just seems stout, like she wants to get on them back wheels and go, I like that lots....

Sorry, to correct myself, mine is not adjustable, but it is just as great! Bolts up with no hassel, and if I decide to change my tranny out, heck, it stays and the tranny goes.

AMEN brother!! I've been eyeing that Jegs arm for awhile, but did'tn buy it before since it was non-adjustable. Now that I got the new TH400/wbrake I need something different and now the upgraded one Jegs arm will be bought. Cant believe it took them this long to think of that I think sales will go up now!!

whats the difference between a jegster piece and the spohn piece, saying that they are both adjustable and why is it being adjustable so special?

you can change the pinion angle to compensate for lowered suspension or even track conditions

My problem with the jegster arm (or the better version made by alston racing) is that it requires drilling 14 holes into the sheetmetal of the car ... and it doesn't lift up on the frame.

Just like it was said already, I did put everything back in once it was installed. I do not use back seats, however, you could put them back in no prob. Once you get the carpet back down, you cannot even tell that there is bolts under the carpet, it is still just flush as before, it's nice, you just cannot tell I drilled holes in the floor pan, nothing.

The biggest difference between sphoon and jegster's tq arm is you can use the jegs tq arm with ANY transmission, unlike the sphoon, which is tranny specific.

I recommend jegester products to anyone, like I said I am running the sub frame connectors (great product, fits in great) and the tq arm, fit nice, great price and works great!!!

that TA appears to be quite a bit shorter than stock, can you possibly get a measurement of it?

For the jegs tq arm, I already did it when installing it.

It is about 28" long, give or take if I remember right.

yes, from the end where the tq arm connects to the base to the end where it mounts to the axle.

The torque arm pushing up on the tunnel can't be any worse than than it being on the trans tail shaft trying to lift the trans up.The jegster tunnel mount looks like it would spread the force out a bit.

you could always skip the bolts and weld it right to the tunnel. You have to take the carpet out anyhow

This is so true... No direct force in one spot, more like (because of the base) spread out to a wider load.
