Rear sway bar bushing replacment- how to?

Other than the manual acknowledging the fact that rear sway bars are installed in some Firebirds, it doesn't make mention of how to replace the bushings - particularly the bushings going around the bar itself where it's clamped to the rear axle.....

How difficult is it to replace these bushings? I'm assuming you have to slide the old ones off and the new ones onto the bar, but I'm wondering how tight they're supposed to fit. My sway bar is so loose I can grab it and slide it back and forth...

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks!
David

Edit- I noticed azcamaro's post on sway bar bushings, but it looks like they're trying to deal with the front bar- I'm making the assumption the back bar is different, but I could be wrong....

exactly the same. the bushing shells just bolt onto a brace that goes around the axles instead of on the frame itself. Easy job.

Easy job, but for me always messy. Need lots of towels or paper towels for the grease I tend to get everywhere.

Cool- now if I can get a wheel cutter for my dremel so I can get the rusted link bolts off- even after soaking them with Liquid Wrench for the past few days they're not wanting to come out....

Thanks!
